800A Laboratory Electrical Panel Upgrade
BD installed a new 800-amp, 480-volt distribution subpanel at a research facility undergoing laboratory renovations.
The Challenge
The occupied facility needed capacity for new laboratory equipment and mechanical systems. Equipment placement, required working clearances, and feeder routing had to be coordinated with ongoing renovation work.

- 800A, 480V three-phase subpanel installation
- Feeder conduit, conductors, and terminations
- Equipment mounting, grounding, and bonding
- Circuit identification and labeling
- Testing and construction coordination
The Result
The new panel creates an organized distribution point for laboratory equipment, HVAC, and future branch circuits. The installation supports the renovation while improving access and clarity for future electrical work.
