BD Electrical & Solar
Electricians at Our Core. Energy Experts by Experience.
BD Electrical & Solar brings electrical construction and energy systems together for homes, businesses, and facilities.
See Our WorkThe Electrical Work Comes First.
Brett Duguay entered the trades after high school in 2007 and founded BD in 2014. Prompt, dependable service, careful workmanship, and customer referrals became the foundation of the company.
Today, BD Electrical & Solar brings that electrical contracting experience to residential and commercial projects, alongside solar, battery storage, EV charging, smart panels, and backup power.
That electrical foundation shapes how we approach an energy project: understand the existing infrastructure, account for future loads, and coordinate the equipment as a system.
The People Behind Your Project.

Our electricians, solar professionals, and project team work with homeowners, businesses, general contractors, and institutions. We coordinate planning, engineering requirements, permits, installation, and inspections as applicable to the project.
Brett Duguay — Founder
Brett’s interest in electrical technology began at Old Colony Regional Vocational Technical High School, where he earned a certification in Computer Information Technology. He pursued the electrical trade after graduation, became a Master Electrician in 2014, and founded BD that year with a focus on electrical services and practical clean energy technology.
