Commercial Rooftop HVAC Electrical Installation
BD installed the electrical infrastructure for multiple large rooftop air handling units serving a research and laboratory facility.
The Challenge
The exposed rooftop environment required durable wiring methods and accessible service disconnects. Electrical routes also had to align with mechanical piping, ductwork, equipment placement, and maintenance access.
BD’s Scope of Work
- Three-phase power distribution and branch circuits
- Equipment disconnects and final connections
- EMT and rigid conduit systems
- Grounding, bonding, and control-wiring coordination
- Testing and startup support
The Result
The completed installation supplies the facility’s mechanical equipment through organized, serviceable electrical infrastructure. Clean conduit routing and accessible disconnect locations support future maintenance in a demanding rooftop environment.
