Commercial HVAC UV-C Lighting Retrofit
BD installed UV-C fixtures inside commercial air handling units as part of an HVAC component sanitation retrofit.
The Challenge
Limited access inside the units required careful fixture placement and wiring coordination. The electrical work had to integrate with existing mechanical equipment while protecting sensitive components.

- Dedicated electrical power and protected wiring
- Control integration and mechanical coordination
- Functional testing and startup
The Result
The completed installation positions UV-C lamps to irradiate cooling coils and adjacent internal surfaces. This project focused on HVAC component treatment; it is not presented as a measured air-disinfection or health outcome.
